Information you provide
FOSSAE collects the name, email address, phone number, delivery address and notes you submit with an order request. Contact and custom clothing inquiries may include your design preferences and images you deliberately upload. These details are used to respond to you, manage requests, maintain stock and arrange fulfilment. They are not sent to our analytics tools as customer identity fields.
Payments
Payments are processed through Razorpay secure checkout when available. FOSSAE stores order and payment references, amounts and verified payment status. Payment details are entered in Razorpay checkout; this website does not store card numbers, CVV values, UPI PINs or banking passwords.
Essential storage
Essential shopping storage keeps your bag working. Private administration uses authenticated sessions. These functions are separate from optional analytics.
Optional analytics and campaigns
Only after you choose Allow analytics, we measure page views, product and colour selections, additions to the bag, checkout intent, unpaid request completion, scrolling and active engagement. We use random visitor/session identifiers and limited campaign tags such as source, medium and campaign. We do not record screen replays, typed form contents or full query strings in our first-party analytics. Campaign attribution may be attached to an order request when analytics is accepted. First-party event records are retained for up to 90 days.
Google Analytics and location
GA4 is prepared but is inactive until FOSSAE supplies a Measurement ID. When configured, it loads only after analytics consent and receives limited browsing and shopping events. Google may infer approximate country, region and city from the visitor’s connection. This is approximate visitor geography, not GPS tracking. FOSSAE also reports aggregated delivery city/state from submitted order addresses, separately from visitor location. Google advertising storage, ad personalisation and advertising user-data consent remain disabled in this integration.
Your choices
Use Privacy preferences in the footer to decline analytics or withdraw your permission. Declining optional analytics does not prevent shopping or inquiries. Supported browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals keep analytics off. Withdrawal stops future collection; contact FOSSAE about previously submitted personal information.
Storage and service providers
The site uses Hostinger hosting, Vercel application hosting and a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon. Authorised administrators can access operational customer information. Razorpay processes payments. When email notifications are enabled, Resend receives recipient addresses and order or invoice content to send transactional messages. If activated, Google Analytics receives the limited analytics events described above. Data may be processed in countries where these providers operate. Access controls and encrypted connections help protect information; no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and requests
Operational order and inquiry records are retained as needed to respond, fulfil requests and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Contact FOSSAE to ask about access, correction or deletion. The operational retention schedule must be confirmed before paid sales begin.
